Webinar: Debunking Online Fundraising Myths

I conducted this webinar, hosted by Sage Nonprofit, on June 15, 2010.

This was the first in a series of webcasts that I led for Sage and focused on the myths surrounding online fundraising and strategies to make your efforts more successful.

Some of the Myths we discussed included:

  • Only large organizations can raise money online
  • Most organizations really don’t raise that much online anyways
  • The technology needed for online fundraising is too expensive and not worth doing
  • You need someone on staff dedicated full time to raise money online
  • Plus a few others.

The recording of the webinar is available at: http://sage.acrobat.com/p12103699/

In addition, here is the link to the presentation on SlideShare: http://slidesha.re/9WZc0p

Let us know what you think about the webinar, and as always please let us know any other topics you would like to see us work on.

Thanks!
